Jim Ballas – Starred In A Local Busch Gardens Television
Direct response television advertising is the single most effective method of advertising available to companies who hope to sell products directly to their clientèle. It is also immensely popular, as any late-night television watcher can attest. If you don’t notice the name, direct response television advertising is essentially the same as infomercials. Any ad which asks the consumer to contact the company or salesmen directly, usually by a phone number, is what is referred to as a direct response television advertisement.
Jim Ballas has worked in the DRTV industry since the mid-80s, when the industry first sprang up. He first got involved because of his background with acting and modeling—industries in which he was first involved after being “discovered” while swimming at a hotel swimming pool as a teen. He starred in a local Busch Gardens television ad and spent the next couple of years in the industry. His comfort in front of the camera eventually led him to become involved in the DRTV industry, which he has engrossed himself in ever since. It is this industry which has truly embraced him—he is a leader in DRTV, both because of his obvious talent and considerable experience. Mr. Ballas is known throughout the industry as a trend setter and a reliable pitchman.
